Back has dial decoder w/letters and numbers to decipher secret codes. Also has safety pin-type of pin-back. Lt. luster loss to top of jet o/w VF. 3x7" member's letter has facsimile signature of Captain Midnight at bottom, Ovaltine statistics on back, horizontal fold as issued in center. 2.5x4" member card is unsigned and Mint. 4.25x6" colorful manual has 12 pages, one folds out w/lengthy coded message. Included is page devoted to "The Secret Squadron Hall Of Fame." Five adults are pictured w/information below. Included are baseball player Duke Snider and football player Crazy Legs Hirsh. One page explains the 1957 Secret Squadron Signals. Another explains the 15th Anniversary Special Gift offer of a Captain Midnight Ovaltine mug or shaker.
