Item Description
11x12x1.75" deep box. ©1928. Box text includes endorsement by Tom Mix of enclosed product. Manufactured by the Mordt Co. Tom's name, portrait, "TM" brand appear on all box sides. Light surface dust. Scattered color rubs along edges. Box remains tight, colorful and Fine. 6x7.25" fold-out instructions fold out to 30" long. Eight instruction panels, 7 picture Tom with rope action. Instructions are "Taught By Hank Durnell/World's Champion Rope Spinner And Trick Rider, Pendleton, 1925." Instructions Exc. Also included is 2.5x4.25" torn envelope that holds "Weight For Upright Or Vertical Spinning With The Tom Mix Rodeo Rope." Instructions for weight attachment are printed on envelope. Circular lead weight is included. Even with vertical tear, envelope is rarely found. Also included is 22' long rope. Rope is Exc.
