c. 1943. 6x6.25" envelope with front illustration of beanie. Back features two example pins from military insignia set, one from airplane set and has forms for additional caps. Light handling wear with 1.5" long archival tape reinforcement under flap. Envelope VG. Felt beanie with light surface dust. Pin holes. Maintains original shape. Beanie VG. Attached to beanie are six military insignia buttons. Fifteen comic buttons include: (2) Superman, (2) Uncle Walt, Henry, The Phantom, Orphan Annie, Blondie and others. Pins overall Fine to VF. Scarce w/envelope.
