11.5x12.75" binder containing weekly "Product Digest" publication from Sept. 1, 1945 through Nov. 2, 1946. Publications deal with film publicity, movie synopsis, Hollywood gossip and information about studios and their stars. Also included in each publication is a section on new releases. Just some of the many films mentioned include: Abbott & Costello films Buck Privates Come Home and Abbott & Costello In Hollywood, The Postman Always Rings Twice, John Wayne war classic They Were Expendable, The Lost Weekend, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby classic Road To Utopia, Bing Crosby inspirational Bells Of St. Mary's, Dick Tracy, Tarzan And The Leopard Man, Cary Grant in The Bishop's Wife, Disney animated feature Make Mine Music, The Spider serial, horror mash-up House Of Dracula and Humphrey Bogart classic The Big Sleep. Also included are listings for various cartoons including Fox & Crow, Droopy in the Shooting Of Dan McGoo, Popeye, Little Lulu, Disney short features - Donald's Crime, Canine Casanova, Dog Watch; Terrytoons including Mighty Mouse, Walter Lantz cartoons including Woody Woodpecker. Publications are hole-punched as issued and have varying degrees of dust soiling and aging at margins. Overall Fine-Exc. Binder has some oxidation along clasp and cover has 3 small paint spots. Spine cracks but binder is still secure. Fine.
