Item Description
4" tall plastic mug with clear panel for paper advertising strip for Springmaid showing Underdog and Dudley Do Right. Mug was released as a premium from both Springmaid (producer of sheets and linens) and Parents Magazine. c. mid-1960s. Comes with slip explaining mug is a promotional premium to show Springmaid's "Dudley Do-Right" and "Underdog" exclusive design sheets, bedspreads and towels. Parents Magazine ran advertisements for Springmaid featuring these characters. Mug is Mint and 3.5x9" paper slip has handling wear resulting in some tears along top margin. Rare and first we've offered.
