Item Description
12.25x15x10.75" deep box with glossy paper label picturing enclosed 7.5" tall cold-cast porcelain statue sculpted by William Paquet and designed by Frank Miller. Statue was a limited edition of 5,500 statues, this being 5,054 of 5,500. ©DC Comics 1996, the tenth anniversary of "Batman - The Dark Knight Returns," the dark and gritty future tale of Batman written and illustrated by comic book legend Miller. Statue features an older Batman teaching his new protege Robin how to fire a slingshot. Robin figure is a separate piece and is inserted into base in front of Batman. Thin, painted copper wire slingshot sling fits into Robin's hand and has some paint wear at this point. O/w statue is N. Mint. Box has some wear to top flaps as opened and is Exc.
