Item Description
Item consists of 2-1/8" button with a gold edge surrounding paper sticker with the artwork and text. Reverse pin holds blue/yellow accent fabric ribbon. Sticker and ribbon show a little age tone but no specific damage marks. Reverse backpaper has union bug at center. Upper right has crease and .5" tear. Ribbon has inked notation on reverse from original owner "J.O. Hechtman 1807-45." A small dot on the upper edge in our photo was a dirt speck now removed. Near VF and only the second we've seen. Rare. See Remington #587 and Winchester #589.
