Item Description
1-1/8" extremely well made blue and white enamel on brass showing radio tower with lightning bolts at top while at center is flying eagle clutching lightning bolts in his talons. Beneath him is series of brass and blue enamel vertical panels of varying widths, which, given the occupation of those wearing this badge may have some significance. Reverse is in brass with just a little luster off and at center is maker's mark "LeVelle & Co. Phila. Pa. Sterling." Reverse has vertical pin with a safety lock catch. Hard to date but certainly seems to be of WWII era, if not slightly earlier. N. Mint.
