Item Description
Lot of 7 early premiums c. 1941-1943. First is 6.5x9.5" envelope with hand-written "Capt. Marvel Club" return address with "Remember Pearl Harbor" stamp beside postmark. Small creases and one brass tab off but clean. Second is 7/8" 1941 club member's litho button. Mint. Third is 2.75x4" 1942 membership card with key to secret code on reverse. Card has been filled out and is N. Mint. Fourth is 2.75x4" sheet of paper from 1942 that contains "Captain Marvel's Secret Message" code. N. Mint. Next is 3.5x8.25" c. 1943 sheet used as Christmas/New Year's greeting to club members and shows 15 Fawcett characters. N. Mint. Sixth is 3.5x4.5" felt patch from 1943 which retains about 95% of adhesive back. Exc. Last item in lot is 42" long child's necktie which has silk-screened "Captain Marvel" image and logo. Narrow streak with less color but as printed and overall N. Mint as made. A great group of early classic comic book club premiums from the WWII era.
