Item Description
"Captain Marvel Adventures" measures 6x8" with 32 pages. Published by Fawcett in 1945. "Captain Marvel And The Threads Of Life" story included. Book has heavy scattered aging to front cover with four .5x.75" areas of light surface paper lift from removal. VG+ with VF pages. "Whiz Comics" measures 6.5x8.25" with 32 pages and was published by Fawcett in 1946. "Captain Marvel And The Water Thieves" story with Golden Arrow, Ibis and Crime Smasher stories. Heavy aging along top and right-hand margin of front cover with usual and typical wear from box removal. Good/VG with Fine pages. As these books were taped at each corner to a box of Wheaties, they are never found in VF or Mint condition. Books come with clipped 7.25x15" newspaper ad in full color for these Wheaties premium comic books. Both issues offered here are pictured along with "Flash Comics" and "Funny Stuff." 1" tear at right with tape repair. Aged and VG.
