Item Description
19x24" paper map. c. 1932. Map was produced as a premium for Jack Pearl radio program that began in 1932. Many colorful and amusing locations noted on the map including the Baron organizing the Northwest Mounted Police and Bismarck, North Dakota being named after the Baron's favorite fish. Numerous historical events/places include the Baron at the Boston Tea Party, Salem Witch Trials, San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and more. Also, several movie stars of the era make appearances including Jimmy Durante, Eddie Cantor, Jack Pearl, Joe Penner and Baron visiting Atlantic City Beauty Pageant. Folded as issued. Light wear, would look Exc. framed. Rare and only the 4th example we've seen in 40 years.
