Item Description
Small scale tin litho wagon is 8x16x14" tall complete with pair of wire support rods and vinyl cover which converts the wagon into a simulated covered wagon. c. 1955 by Adco-Liberty Manufacturing Corp. (they also produced a full-size child's wagon). Front panel of box has image of the wagon although as factory issued, this is largely covered by a pair of paper tape strips with "Mickey Mouse" name printed over top of one strip. Box has moderate aging, Fine. Sides of the wagon feature Frontiertown scene including "Wells Fargo & Company/General Store" buildings plus a pair of photos of Fess Parker as Davy. Each side of the vinyl cover includes Mouse Club logo. As issued, wagon has never been fully assembled. To the left of one of the Fess portraits is a 1.5" hairline scratch. Slightest additional trace of paint wear with some nick/scratches to the wheels but all appears to be as produced as wagon is old store stock and retains an exceptionally bright and glossy appearance. Exc. Scarce and one of our favorite Disney Davy items.
