Item Description
Three issue lot, #s 60-61 and 64 published by DC Comics Jan/Feb, 1966 - Mar/Apr, 1966 and Sept/Oct, 1966. Issue #60 features the first appearance of The Spectre in the Silver Age, his last appearance being in 1945. Written by Gardner Fox with art by Murphy Anderson, The Spectre quickly became a hit and after 3 issues spawned his own series (See following item #1518). Issues have pinch creases to spine with light corner tip wear and a small tear to bottom of spine on #60. #s 60 and 64 are Fine+, #61 retains bright and glossy colors and is Fine/VF.
