Item Description
6x7.5x2.75" deep box contained 10" tall double-sided puppet with fabric body showing Superman costume on one side and Clark Kent monogrammed shirt on the other. Peter Puppet Playthings, 1954. Window box with Superman's "S" shield opening, with die-cut images of Clark Kent and Superman on either side. Side box panels show Clark Kent changing into Superman in front of "Daily Planet" and him as Superman. Box has light aging and wear with two 1" tears to top flap. Window is intact and box is Fine overall. Only the second example of this box we've had in 40 years. Rare. From the Andy Levison Collection.
