Item Description
7.5" long tin litho friction car comes in box nicely illustrated on all sides. 1950s. Box has light wear with some small tears on the end flap closures but all panels remain bright and clean. VF. Card depicts Donald as the driver with passengers including one of his nephews, Mickey and Goofy. Doors feature images of Bambi and Thumper. Roof has a simulated television set with clear plastic cover over the screen that features an image of Mickey and Donald. While the friction mechanism works, sparks are no longer produced (missing flint) so the "screen" does not light up as intended. Slightest trace of wear to extreme rim edge of body, some minute scattered paint nicks. Appearance remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Scarce, especially with box. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
