Item Description
Assembled toy is 5x5.5x8" tall, the celluloid Minnie figure is 5" tall. 1930s. Made in Japan, distributed by Borgfeldt. Box lid features an image of the toy, the 4 side panels have different images of Mickey and Minnie. Box has noticeable dust soiling, 2 side panels have noticeable tiny moisture spotting. Top of box has a .5" dia. moisture stain at bottom edge. Right side panel has a 2" jagged split with archival tape repair to interior. Box corners remain tight. VG/Fine. Toy has built-in key and works. Tax stamp is affixed to Minnie's lower body. Figure shows trace of aging but no dents or cracks. Exc. Scarce with box. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
