Item Description
3.75x8.25x1-3/8" deep box w/text continuing "New/Patterned After The Original Six Shooter Of Gene Autry." Image of Gene w/facsimile signature at his right. Graphics and text repeated on both sides of box. Sides read "Gene Autry Repeating Cap Pistol/Mfd. By The Kenton Hardward Co., Kenton, Ohio, U.S.A./© Mitchell J. Hamilburg Co." Box end flaps show wear w/one 2" split at fold on one and .75" split on other. Inner flaps are missing. Not apparent when flaps are closed. Box is Fine. 8" cast gun has nickel finish w/facsimile signature of "Gene Autry" on both sides of area behind trigger. Plastic grips have relief images of spur, star, cowboy hat and facsimile signature of "Gene Autry." Gun is Exc. and appears unused. c. 1950.
