Item Description
7x10.5" envelope w/original mailing address and text to left reading "Build/Play/Exciting Kix Air Base With Cut-Outs For Planes, Tanks, Jeeps, Etc./And Rules For Three Thrilling Games. Also Many Valuable Things Future Flyers Will Want To Know/Additional Cut-Outs Printed On New Kix Packages." Inside envelope is 6.5x10" folded sheet that opens to total of 26.5x40". © 1945 premium game by General Mills. Sheet has no Lone Ranger reference but is known offered via his radio show. Front of sheet is full color, back is rwb. Includes 26.5" square playing surface for "Kix-Tag." Playing surface has "Air Strip" bordered by design of air base within a "beachhead" on three sides. The left quarter of the front of the sheet features cut-out "equipment" for game play including aircraft, vehicles, other military equipment. Additional pieces were to be cut out of Kix cereal boxes. Reverse includes game instructions as well as "Flying Facts For Future Pilots" plus an illustrated list of all the game's "equipment" pieces. Both sides are bright, clean and uncut. Folded as issued.
