Item Description
1.25" classic w/date of "Sept. 28th." Complete w/Enterprises/Kay Kamen backpaper that includes picture of Mickey in classic hand extended pose. This was Mickey's first major birthday celebration. Theaters were encouraged to book special programs of Mickey and Silly Symphony cartoons. Besides this button, theaters offered cake, costume parties and some places free admission to patrons dressed as Disney cartoon characters. Guy Lombardo recorded the just-created song "Mickey Mouse's Birthday Party." Scarce. Exc. and displays Mint.
