Item Description
5.5" tall figurine atop 5" dia. base, lamp has total height of 12". Figurine was made by Shaw/American Pottery although lamp was issued by Railley Corp. c. 1947. Comes with the 6.5" tall thin cardboard shade for the matching Panchito lamp and featuring his image on the front, wrap-around design of cactus. Typical all-over light aging, some scattered minor pinch creases, .5" puncture mark on back. Still clean and structurally sound, these shades are rarely found and when they are typically have much more wear than this example. Fine. Lamp is all original and working although felt covering missing from the underside. Figurine has typical light craze lines but appearance remains Exc. for display. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
