In May 1939, the first issue of Wonder Comics included a Wonder Man story by Will Eisner. This proved to be the character's only appearance as a result of a lawsuit claiming the character was a copy of Superman. The comic book carries an ad for a ring and we believe this is the ring offered although we have never actually seen the comic book ad. In the third edition of the Overstreet ring guide, he shows a ring with the same band design as this one although the initial on the ring shown in his book is an "H" whereas on this ring the initial is undoubtedly a "B." Likely issued so person ordering could request their initial. Ring is brass with adjustable bands and black enamel paint accent on backgrounds.
