Item Description
8.25x12.5x1" deep box holds 7/8" wide by 3-3/8x6" long picture gun. Gun has 5/8x2.5" decals on each side reading "Hopalong Cassidy" w/his illustration. Cast metal gun reads "Auto-Magic." Hinged to open access for battery chamber and to replace films. End of gun has glass magnifier, internal workings have light that is activated by pulling the trigger. When trigger is pulled, filmstrip is advanced and light comes on. Light and trigger work. Batteries not included. Two .75x1x4.25" film boxes are included. Each box has illustrations of Hoppy and read in rope script "Hopalong Cassidy." Both boxes contain filmstrip loops. One additional filmstrip loop is in the gun. Also comes w/5x7" color picture of Hoppy and Topper w/facsimile signature "From Your Friend Hoppy." Handling creases and pin hole at top center, ink writing on back w/boy's name and age, birthday. 6x6.75" unfolded envelope addressed to "Stevens Products Co. Inc. Middletown, Conn." w/order blank for additional "Auto-Magic Films." Also included is 8x11" instructions w/illustration of picture gun on one side and list of available Auto-Magic films on the other. Gun and film boxes are held in place w/insert that reads "Hopalong Cassidy Picture Gun And Theater/Use Only Auto-Magic Films/Get Bulbs And Batteries From Your Dealer." Insert has illustration at bottom w/Hoppy scenes. Slightly concave. There is an 8x32" folded cardboard apron to be used as sides for picture theater. Cardboard fits inside box bottom and uses box lid to complete the theater for showing the Hoppy films. Lid has lt. wear, two clear tape reinforcements inside, slightly concave. Fine. Photo is Good.
