Item Description
10x11.25x28" tall. 9.25x15.5" lighted glass image area. ©1947. Text at top asks "From What Are You Descended/Fish." Bottom reads "Directions: Drop Coin In Slot And Squeeze Handle For Answer." Smaller text lists patent numbers and concludes "Copyright 1947 Exhibit Supply Co. Chicago." When coin is offered and handle is squeezed, each of the 12 pictured and identified nautical creatures lights up in a clockwise sequence. When sequence is finished, it stops with one lighted image supposedly identifying the creature that the user is descended from. Wood case is painted silver with red accents. Front drawer at bottom comes with key and working lock. Painted back panel has latch for opening to perform any maintenance. Cord is replacement. Works well. Displays well, even when not lit through the glass. Mechanism has been properly maintained. Painted case shows light wear/chips. Case Fine. Mechanism Exc. Glass illustrations Exc.
