Item Description
2x3.5" white silk centered by rwb image of US flag including 20 stars. Reads "Union And Democracy." Graphic area beneath flag includes image of bugle and saber sword crossed over the flagpole. Left edge has 1/16" tan dot and a small area of light tan is around word "Union" in addition to small age dot below letter "U." Still crisp and bright. Silk may once have been longer in length but image is perfectly centered. Sullivan & Fischer show 12 varieties, but not this. Word "Union" is typical on these ribbons but "Democracy" concept is usually implied by use of word "Constitution." Rare.
