Item Description
2.5x4" card centered by 1.25x1.75" oval center opening holding 1.75x2" tintype with octagonal edges. Card back has 75% of original yellowish paper that sealed the image but pieces are off the edges plus two archival tape repairs to hold tintype in correct position. Card front has faint .25x.5" tan mark on right edge but displays nicely and tintype is Mint with crisp portrait. Only example we've seen.
