Item Description
9.5x10.5x4-1/8" deep corrugated box has illustration of Hoppy on top w/text "Here's Hopalong Cassidy" w/three box sides having western theme illustrations. Inside box lid reads "Here's Your Hopalong Cassidy Chuck Wagon Set/Stand Plate Here/The W. S. George Pottery Co. East Palestine, Ohio." Insert in box holds 3-1/8" dia. by 3" tall pottery mug, 5.25" dia. by 2" deep bowl, 9.5" dia. plate. Each has different image of Hoppy. Plate has simulated signature reading "To My Friend-Hoppy." Box shows wear and has ink markings on top and one side but VG. Set is Exc. c. 1950s. Rare boxed.
