Item Description
4x5.75" with 96 pages of song lyrics. This is 1932 (24th edition) sold for 15¢ published by the Industrial Workers of the World with Chicago address. Long ago the red cover became wet and put red stain on one-third of the title page, 3 index pages and first couple lyric pages getting progressively less noticeable by page 7 and majority of book just has tan stain line on upper corners of each page. Overall just Good but a clean cover and sound binding. In addition to Joe Hill (who is credited with many song lyrics) are photos of Wesley Everest ("Murdered 1919 By Mob Of 'Respectable' Businessmen") and Frank H. Little (lynched Butte, Montana 8/1/17). A labor classic from the dark days 1932 economic depression.
