Item Description
4.75x6.75". 16 pages. Text at lower front cover reads "Prepared And Submitted By Non-Partisan Ford For Senator Club." Along with various photographs, the book text lists 22 "Reasons Why We Should Vote For Henry Ford For Senator." Center pages have panoramic view of "The Vast New Edition Now Being Completed To Henry Ford Hospital." Also shown is a facsimile of the letter to Ford from "The White House/Washington DC" dated October 9, 1918 from Woodrow Wilson acknowledging Ford's generosity in building this facility. Of the many interesting reasons to elect Ford senator, #10 explains that he "Refuses To Spend One Dollar For An Office" and goes on to explain "The President Called Mr. Ford To The White House And Made His Request Personally" that Ford run for this position. Ford's response was that he would do so but "He Has Not Spent One Dollar For The Nomination Or For The Election And He Will Not Do So." Tiniest bit of handling wear to cover. Contents N. Mint. Rare.
