Item Description
1.5" also with serial number "493" and "Laguardia Field." The ATC grew out of the Ferrying Command that delivered U.S. aircraft to Britain under the Lend-Lease program before we entered WWII. In 1942, the various contracts were consolidated and independent of both Army and Navy. They flew "high value" cargo. Exc. and displays Mint. Rare limited issue. First we've seen.
