Item Description
Set of 12 spoons. 6" long. Each has the same handle with the Trylon & Perisphere in front of the "Theme Building." Text on handles reads "1939 New York World's Fair." Back of each is marked "Pat. Pend. Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co." Bowl of each spoon features a different Fair building i.e. Aviation Building, US Government Building, Food Exhibition, Marine Transportation Building, etc. Spoons are tarnished from age. Never used. Would easily clean to be their original bright silver luster. Set comes in a well-made wood box with gold luster lettering reading "Official Souvenir/New York World's Fair 1939." Box measures 1.5x7x9". Box comes in sturdy orange color wrapping with insert and sleeve. Included is original soft cloth spoon holder. Other than the tarnish, spoons, box, wrapper are N. Mint. Rare. First we've seen in box with outer wrapper.
