Item Description
6.5x6.5x2.5" tall. c. 1930s. Brightly-colored illustration on lid shows Halloween theme of witch with broom by boiling kettle holding cards and accompanied by a black cat. Made by "Pla-Rite Games." Box is bright, tight and glossy. Exc. Instructions inside lid. Comes with fortune telling card and original chamois. Inside box is insert holding celluloid window above a Halloween-themed dial with various playing card divisions. Attached to a fine string in the bottom of the box is a thin die-cut silhouette of a witch. Witch flies when chamois is rubbed briskly across cellophane window (caused by static electricity). When witch falls, the corresponding card value is read on included "Fortune Booklet" (two-sided printed card). A fascinating, fun Halloween game in Exc. condition.
