Auction #182 - Part II
Item numbers 1500-3431 in auction 182
Item Description
4x5x13.5" tall hollow painted plaster statue. Usually just a carnival statue, this is a scarcer version as a bank. Coin slot and trap have not been opened. Underside of base has bold red painted lettering added reading "King Kong." This particular example has beautiful coloration. Kong is standing on what appears to be a rocky lava-like base, teeth are bared and fists clenched. 1/8" area of chipping on base w/very few minute scattered paint flakes but still an Exc. example.
