Tabs each 1.5" across and 2-1/8" tall. Comes with photocopy of original promotional Warner Bros. campaign book page that advertised the two tabs. Style A was to be used for the preview trailer and reads "Seen James Dean?" Style B was to be used during the picture's run and reads "I've Seen James Dean In 'East Of Eden'!" Style A has slight bend in tab prong and raised bump at 9 o'clock. Style B has scattered spots from 10 to 12 o'clock and raised bump at 9 o'clock. Still both display Exc. Theaters could order in lots of 100 for $5 which makes one wonder if they were used and if so, why no others have shown up over the years. This is Dean's first movie of the three he made and the only one that was released while he was still living. Also, these are most likely the only buttons/tabs made while Dean was still alive. Both are first we've offered. Rare and desirable items for this 50s icon who is still a rage to this day.
