Item Description
Lot of six stills from various comedic legends of the 1920s through the 1940s. 7.5x9.75" still from 1922's "Dr. Jack" starring Harold Lloyd shows Lloyd boxing. c. 1930s with Photoplay Magazine Library backstamp. 3/8" fade spot in upper left-hand corner, o/w N. Mint. 8x10" original still for 1926 Harold Lloyd film "For Heaven's Sake." N. Mint. 8x10" "The Bohemian Girl" Laurel & Hardy photo shows the duo in costume peeling vegetables at fire. Has 1935 Photoplay Magazine backstamp plus glued-on paper attachment with related text. Slight waving of paper at top though only seen in reflected light. 3.25" faint crease at bottom right-hand corner. Would look Exc. framed. 7.5x9.5" trimmed still from 1940 Charlie Chaplin film "The Great Dictator." Photoplay Magazine Library backstamp. Clean and Glossy. N. Mint. 8x10" matted finished still from the Marx Bros. film "The Night At The Opera" showing them playing musical instruments. Two ink stamps on back with paper label with related text. Handling wear, though image area remains clean and VF. 8x10" glossy 1959 re-release shows W.C. Fields in 1925 film "Sally Of The Sawdust." Lightly aged but o/w N. Mint.
