1-1/2x3x2-1/4" tall bank w/tin top and bottom, cardboard body w/paper label covering. c.1938. Label design is cream off-white with color images. Front is a photo portrait of Uncle Don and reverse features "Mr. Ernest Saver," a Greenwich savings bank book character placing a penny into a bank. Right side of bank includes addresses for the N.Y. banks. Body of bank has overall light scattered traces of wear. VF.
