Auction 193 - Part II
Item numbers 800 though 2307 in auction 193
Item Description
8" dia. plate with ridges forming 3 separate food areas and 3" tall mug are each marked on the underside "S.C. Co. Patriot China/Mfgd. By Permission Walt Disney Enterprises." This mark is faint but readable on the mug and the mug handle has a single crack line towards its bottom. The mug has large image of Minnie grooming her imaginary hair while on the reverse is a small image of "Horse Collar" standing with crossed leg and holding an antique blunderbuss-style rifle. On the plate, the Minnie grooming image is repeated along with smaller images of her and Pluto. The underside of the plate has a .25" long hairline on the rim edge and another area of the rim has shallow .25" long missing sliver but neither defect is of much importance and front of the piece displays Exc. as does the mug with the exception of the hairline on the handle. Actually scarcer than similar pieces depicting Mickey. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
