This is only the second copy of this book we have offered in our 41 years, the first was in Auction #191 but this copy is in much nicer condition and this version has slightly different cover and numbered page text. 10x12" hardcover with spiral binding published in 1939 by Random House with both American and English editions. The book's individually hand-numbered page has text reading "This Is Copy #14 Of The English Edition. Only One Hundred Copies Have Been Printed." This was published for promotional purposes during the English premier of the film and only distributed to the media, theater owners and potential advertisers. 44 pages are numbered and single-sided, all in bw. There are 11 text pages featuring a detailed "Overall Continuity Outline." The remaining illustrated pages include concept drawings, storyboards, photos of studio models, model sheets, etc. This book records the development of characters and basic story of Walt Disney's second feature-length animated motion picture, Pinocchio. Cover shows only light wear/aging mostly along edges including minor corner bumps. Contents lightly aged but very clean overall. A solid, VF copy of this extremely rare book.
