7.25x9.5" stiff cardboard album cover w/textured paper covering designed to look like leather. Front has embossed eagle image and text in gold "Victory Club Album/Official Government Photographs." Spine has attached brown decorative tassel string. Album contains 26 black paper sheets where the pictures were to be mounted. Comes with 49 of the 50 numbered pictures, each 6.25x8.5". Each has bluetone photo w/logo at one corner "Hi-Speed Victory Club War Album Series." Various wartime photos picture aircraft, ships, soldiers, etc. Each has been neatly mounted with glue and done in numerical order 1-50 with only #49 missing. 1940s. Photo #1 has lightly tanned, all others have very ft. and minor trace of margin aging. A couple have come loose and a couple have minor edge creases but overall Exc. as mounted. Cover has lt. trace of wear along edges, small scattered traces of wear to the gold embossed design. VF.
