Original box designed like a guitar case contains 24.5" long nicely-designed guitar by Peter Puppet Playthings Inc. c. 1955. Box has simulated woodgrain design with image of Fess Parker as Davy playing the guitar on each side. Interior of lid has full color paper label with additional art. Box has all-over aging and shows wear with some moisture staining, creases, tears. Back panel has 3x4" area with some white paint along one edge. Overall still displayable. About VG. Guitar has wood body with metal fingerboard, complete with 4 wood tuning keys and strings. Has attached cord shoulder strap as well as original string attached to bottom and attached to this is the original plastic pick also in the shape of the guitar's body. At the center of the head is label with portrait of Davy. Shows light scattered wear but remains VF overall. Comes with photocopy of the original 12-page song booklet. Scarce.
