Item Description
5-7/8" tall with base glazed in light gray, bust un-glazed and all in white. Complete with green felt on underside though felt has some wear and fading. One of various sizes that were offered beginning in MAD No. 3 in Mar., 1960. Probably issued as a satire of the small busts of composers which were popular at the time. The model for the head was sculpted by noted MAD cover artist Kelly Freas and this size originally sold for $2.00. Light dust soiling to un-painted portion, o/w N. Mint display.
