Item Description
8" tall tin litho. Ohio Art, c. 1934. Nice wrap-around scene depicts The Three Little Pigs with Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother. Practical Pig assists in getting Red Riding Hood a drink from a well. Shows all-over scattered wear. Interior has paint wear with traces of surface oxidation. There is a 2.5" long vertical streak with paint loss about 1/8" wide running across Fifer Pig's face. Rest of outside has scattered small paint nicks, scratches and indents although much is really only visible in reflected light. Small trace of oxidation around extreme bottom rim and at back seam. Despite the wear, appearance remains bright and glossy with nice color. VG. Scarce. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
