Item Description
The original box is 13x22x3.25" deep. The right end is missing most of it's outer flap and what remains is loose, but the inner flap is intact. Top of the box has .5" puncture hairline and moisture spots of 1", 2" and 3.5" dia. Other than these 3 spots, the box does remain quite clean and overall condition is near Fine. The toy is a litho tin platform 13x21.5" long with a simulated train track surrounding scenes that include 20 Disney character images. Attached to the base are a pair of tin tunnels. There is a rail crossing gate that moves up and down as the train makes its journey. There is also a signal pylon although the signal arm does not move up and down as an interior connecting rod is missing. The signal arm itself has a small crack at its base but does remain intact. The wind-up train has a 4" long blue plastic engine with built-in key. It pulls a 7" long double section representing 3 different train cars and picturing a total of 9 different Disney characters at the windows on each side. Other than the problem with the signal, condition is N. Mint and the train operates properly.
