Item Description
Set of four, each 2.5x7" full color comic booklet copyright 1956 Sgt. Preston of The Yukon. Issued w/Quaker Cereals. Comics were issued either 5" to 7" long, all of these are the 7" long variety. Each has 16 pages. Titles are "How He Became A Mountie, How Yukon King Saved Him From The Wolves, The Case That Made Him A Sergeant, How He Found Yukon King." Each has st. cover aging and "Sergeant" issue has lt. tanning on front cover at center. "How He Found Yukon King" has margin tanning on reverse but all are still extremely clean copies. Exc. to NM. Also included is the original offer for the comics as found on Muffetts Shredded Wheat box. Box panel is 5.75x6.75” and features illustrations of the comics and also Sgt. Preston. Some minor scattered colored pencil marks that are not obtrusive. Top right of advertisement has Lt. speckled soiling overall fine and a great addition to the comics.
