Auction 193 - Part II
Item numbers 800 though 2307 in auction 193
Item Description
5.5" long marked "Japan" 1930s. While we have seen a celluloid rowboat containing Mickey and Donald, this is the first we've seen of this canoe with just Donald. Donald figure is molded to the interior of the boat, separate pieces for arms and legs are stationary, not movable. Left hand has die-cut slot as made to hold an oar but this is missing. On right side of canoe at center there is a minor .25" hairline in one of the accent grooves only noticeable upon very close inspection. Two pinpoint indents on outer edge of Donald's hat. Trace of aging but overall Fine.
