Item Description
Lot of two. First is 4x5" thick cardboard talking Easter card complete with metal "tape" used to produce sound. This comes in illustrated envelope. Card also has original generic envelope. 1938. Never assembled, Exc./N. Mint. Second is 7x8" Christmas card issued by Donald Duck bread. Original envelope has Donald portrait and 1951 postmark. Jaggedly opened along top edge with small piece missing but Donald portrait remains nearly complete. Card front features Donald as Santa about to enter a chimney. Interior depicts him in delight as he views a sandwich, bottle of milk and Donald Duck bread loaf under a tree, his nephews peer around the corner. Top right corner has a few small margin pieces missing. Card is signed, lightly aged but remains clean. Fine. Scarce.
