Item Description
16.75x22.5" with 46 pages. Published Fri., Nov. 15, 1940. Page 7 has 14x19" beautifully illustrated ad from Macy's featuring Superman. "Tomorrow Superman Opens Toyland At Macy's." Ad shows Superman ushering children into Macy's Superman Show. Clean page with great art. Pages remain bright, clean off-white color. Hardly any traces of wear to margins other than at bottom edges as produced. Folded as issued, spine has series of uniform pinholes, most likely bound with other issues at some point. Spine has tape reinforcement running entire length. Pages remain supple and Exc. Superman page retains a N. Mint appearance. Rare and only the second we've seen.
