Item Description
5x7.25" 20-page stiff paper album contains complete set of 50 cards, each 1.5x2.75", all neatly mounted at appropriate spots. Issued in 1936 by John Player & Sons, Branch of The Imperial Tobacco Co. Ltd. Cards feature choice full color illustrations of automobiles by companies including Austin, Bentley, Daimler, Ford, Hillman, M.G., Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Triumph, others. Text by each car is detailed description of that particular vehicle, pages feature additional illustrations of English landmarks and attractions such as Nottingham Castle, Shakespeare's birthplace, Ashness Bridge, etc. Cover has moderate overall dust soiling and some tiny tan age spotting. Front cover has 2" corner crease. Contents show just lt. aging, staple rust. Cover is VG, pages are Fine to VF. Cards are mostly VF to Exc. as mounted w/just st. aging. Nice complete album.
