24x31.25" frame contains paper poster which has been matted to approximately 19.75x27". c. 1920s. Printed by Herald Poster Co. of Collinsville, IL. Text reads "George McManus' Cartoon Comedy - With Music - Bringing Up Father - Jiggs, Maggie, Dinty Moore and Others." Poster shows Jiggs and Dinty Moore smoking cigars and watching dancing girls in grass skirts and leis. Great graphics. Minor professional restoration to 1.5" tear above dancing girl's arm and 4.5" tear in bottom left-hand corner. These touch-ups are only noticeable upon close inspection. Poster has light aging but remains clean with vivid colors. Displays Exc. From the Gary Selmonsky Collection.
