5.5" tall wood composition figure was designed by legendary Superman artist Wayne Boring to promote Superman to DC Comics' distributors and retailers. 1942. This is fully-painted version which is much rarer than scarce brown and red version. Nicely detailed, painted as Superman appeared in comic books. This figure was also used for ashtrays of which 2 are known. Nicest example we've ever seen. Choice, no repairs or touch-ups. Exc. Only the third we've offered in 41 years and first offered in many years.
