This book is complete with dust jacket and the inside flaps list 4 different Disney pop-up books as well as titles from the Silly Symphony and Mickey Mouse book series (see items #1462-63). This is a reprint of The Three Little Pigs/The Big Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood Two-In-One book by Blue Ribbon Books Inc. from 1933. However, added to this foreign edition are new choice full color end papers as well as 3 outstanding pop-ups. 60 pages with bw story art throughout including many full page illustrations. The pop-ups are: Wolf chasing after Red Riding Hood, Wolf blowing down house of sticks, Three Pigs playing instruments and joined by Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother. The third pop-up has a tape repair to split along one fold line, o/w pop-ups have few minor creases but remain totally bright and clean. Bw pages have scattered light aging but overall remain clean. Cover has scattered trace of wear along edges, bit of fading at top and bottom spine edges but o/w remains totally bright and glossy. Fine/VF. The dust jacket has obvious edge wear with a 1x1.5" piece missing from both top and bottom spine edge. Still glossy with strong color. VG. As there was no American Three Pigs pop-up book published in the 1930s, this in turn is a unique edition, rare and the only copy we've offered in our 41 years.
